Psalm 61:3 KJV
For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.
The Psalmist had the confidence to say The Lord has been a shelter. He didn’t say the LORD
provided him a shelter, but said The LORD is a shelter for him.
A shelter is not just a place we lay our heads or lives but a place we receive protection.
A shelter:
Protect us from harsh weather conditions.
Project us from robbers.
Protect us from the attack of wild animals
The harsh family and economic conditions may not be dealing with you kindly at all but let
the Lord be your shelter (refuge). There are wicked and unreasonable men (2 Thess. 3:2)
therefore let the Lord be your shelter.
God is the only One who can protect, shield and cover you in all your fears.
Trust HIM and know that you are safe under HIM as a shelter.
